Sustainable innovations and technologies
Reduction of CO2 footprint (energy and material efficiency), resource-saving production, quality of light, HCL, (insect-friendly light), circular economy, committee and public relations work.
Employees
Occupational safety, health promotion, further training, work-life balance
Society
Initiatives, social commitment, sponsored projects, Lenze Foundation, ZVEI VDMA Code of Conduct
Research and development
International (sustainability) research projects with science and industry
Interchangeability: Reprolight (re-usable and re-configurable parts for sustainable LED-based lighting systems)
Circular economy: SUMATRA (sustainable materials in future luminaire designs – from recycling back to application). Also in cooperation with the architecture firm GRAFT, with whom we conduct material research.
Sustainable innovations and technologies
With our energy-efficient and durable solutions, we make the world more sustainable – and better.
Certifications for sustainable buildings such as BREEAM, LEEDS and WELL
We support our partners with our products and expertise in implementing their climate strategy through particularly sustainable lighting solutions in buildings, and help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by buildings.
The facilitators
We make sustainability easier than ever – with customised (refurbishment) solutions that everyone can afford, e.g. renting instead of buying
Top marks for building certifications
With TRILUX solutions, top marks can be achieved in the classic sustainability certifications such as BREEAM, LEEDS and WELL. Thanks to the broad portfolio, no compromises in design are needed.
Competition and future security
Sustainability is a key selection criterion when planning or searching for buildings. Sustainable architecture offers significant competitive advantages over conventional buildings.
Quality advantage
A sustainable building not only blends into its surroundings in an architecturally attractive way, but also harmonises with and respects nature.
Less packaging material
Unpacking is easier and faster, and there is no waste to dispose of afterwards: Optimised packaging units (bundles, LED shuttle) minimise the amount of waste and speed up the installation process. In 2022, a total of 180 tons of packaging was saved by new packaging at E-Line alone.
Simple revision capability
With revisable solutions, individual components can be replaced with minimal effort, for example the E-block in the Lumega IQ LED.
Efficient operating costs
Energy-efficient solutions and light management keep the operating costs for lighting permanently low.
High funding rates
Sustainable buildings benefit from various extensive funding programmes.
More feel-good atmosphere
High quality dynamic light in sunlight quality (HCL) creates an attractive working atmosphere that supports the biorhythm and improves well-being.
Individual implementation
Operators receive a tailor-made solution according to their individual ideas.
