The LiveLink Premium system solution is the first choice for large-scale projects: modular, powerful and scalable – from simple installations to complex systems with several thousand luminaires. Automatic or semi-automatic lighting control ensures optimum lighting quality and high energy efficiency.z.
Via open, IP-based interfaces, LiveLink Premium can be flexibly integrated into higher-level building management systems such as KNX or BACnet, providing ideal conditions for digital services, monitoring and remote maintenance. An extension via a wireless gateway transforms LiveLink Premium into a fully hybrid system, whose devices can be controlled either via wired connections or via Bluetooth® NLC.
Scalability

LiveLink Premium is characterised by its modular and network-based scalability. At its core, the system hardware consists of a LiveLink Premium Server or a Premium Controller and one or more LiveLink Premium Gateways, which interact with the server or controller via IP. For the periphery, in addition to couplers for integrating push-buttons, a wide range of sensors with different detection characteristics is available for lighting control.
For planning, this means:
- Linear scaling via additional IP-based network nodes
- Existing installations can be expanded section by section
- System size grows in line with project requirements
This provides planners and building owners with a high level of investment security, as projects can be implemented in construction phases and expanded consistently at a later date.
Hybrid Networks
For even greater flexibility
With the wireless extension, LiveLink Premium becomes a fully hybrid control system. Devices can be integrated either via wired connections or via Bluetooth® NLC. This makes efficient light management possible even in areas that are difficult to cable and allows seamless control via the LiveLink ONE app.

In intelligent buildings, light has long been more than just illumination – it has become part of a connected ecosystem. With LiveLink Premium, luminaires, sensors and control data can be seamlessly integrated into higher-level building management systems. Thanks to open standards such as MQTT, BACnet and KNX, energy, status and sensor data can be easily exchanged, analysed and used to control other building services – securely, interoperably and future-proof.
MQTT
Efficient and reliable transmission of building data in real time
Via the standardised MQTT interface, LiveLink provides all luminaire and sensor data from the DALI installation on a device-specific basis – including energy values, temperatures, switching states and sensor data – enabling direct integration into higher-level building management systems.
BACnet / BACnet Secure Connect
Open, secure building integration with BACnet

KNX / KNX Secure
Globally established standard for intelligent building automation

KNX is a globally used, standardised bus system for building automation, enabling intelligent control, networking and coordination of various building functions. - Seamless integration:
Via the LiveLink KNX Gateway, LiveLink Premium is connected directly to the KNX building management system. This allows groups and scenes to be conveniently controlled from KNX. DALI sensors can also be used for cross-discipline control within the building. - Enhanced cyber security:
With KNX Secure, LiveLink relies on the extended security architecture of the standard and reliably protects communication against unauthorised access.
Technical Data
The LiveLink Ecosystem comprises all components required for intelligent light management within building automation. Devices certified in accordance with the DALI-2 standard enable flexible and precise lighting control in a wide range of environments – from offices and retail lighting to industrial applications and outdoor lighting close to buildings.
