Architecture and lighting are partners with enormous potential, because light makes a decisive contribution to a unique architectural experience. A future-proof lighting solution must not only be standard-compliant, efficient and sustainable, it must also createoptimum working conditions and attractive feel-good atmospheres. Whether skilfully staged or integrated into the architecture - we always offer the right lighting solution.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is becoming an increasingly important standard in digital building planning. For simple and error-free planning, TRILUX provides BIM data sets for its entire luminaire portfolio. Our BIM data sets offer a unique depth of data with around 30 product properties and light distribution curves.
Interior lighting in listed buildings is a complex task. This was also the case at Tacheles in Berlin. As part of a reorientation of the entire quarter, it was comprehensively redesigned and reconceptualised. The Berlin lighting design office jack be nimble took on the lighting design for this challenging project and developed customised special solutions in collaboration with TRILUX. In order to illuminate and showcase the rooms perfectly, jack be nimble sought a full-service partner for the lighting. Not only was excellence in terms of efficiency, light quality and luminaire design required – the lighting also had to structure the rooms, guide visitors intuitively through the building and help shape the building's identity. We solved the task with a mix of our standard portfolio and special solutions from our factory. The So-Tube is at the heart of the lighting concept.

Berlin is sprucing itself up: to make the neighbourhood around Potsdamer Platz in Berlin Mitte more attractive and sustainable, the city of Berlin and the Potsdamer Platz companies have decided to completely redesign the 4.3-hectare area. A central component of the new neighbourhood project is the lighting, which is based on the specifications of the ‘Berlin Lighting Concept’. The lighting concept for the new neighbourhood was developed by the lighting designer Bartenbach based on the ideas of the architects team responsible for the project, Behnisch Architekten.
A huge ring chandelier appears to float weightlessly above the central square of the arcades. The light sculpture ‘the Chandelier’, with a diameter of eight metres, not only ensures that the square is optimally lit. It also gives the pedestrian zone an atmospheric centre and enhances the square with its spectacular design.
The lighting for the rest of the pedestrian zone and the side streets is provided by a special luminaire that was developed specifically for the project. The Triple-B combines MLT-IQ optics for basic lighting with narrow-beam spots for zoning.

The Center am Potsdamer Platz is located in the heart of Berlin. An iconic, 40-metre-high, dynamically illuminated roof is the eye-catcher of the square. Although this architectural landmark is aesthetically attractive, its size and the materials used give it a distant feel and do not invite people to linger. A special lighting concept from Berlin-based lighting design office jack be nimble provides a remedy here. The multi-arm TRILUX special luminaire, consisting of spots and decorative elements that can be controlled to match the colour of the roof, ensures attractive zoning and thus creates orientation, which in turn increases the quality of the square as a place to linger.

The origins of Frankfurt an der Oder's town hall date back to the 13th century. As part of an architectural competition, the city administration decided to comprehensively renovate the listed building. The aim was to use harmonious lighting to connect the various areas of the building while doing justice to the different architectural styles and usage scenarios.
The lighting concept for the historic town hall in Frankfurt (Oder) was designed by the renowned Berlin lighting design office Konzeptlicht. It calls for luminaires that harmonise perfectly with the historic and modern areas of the building, uniting them into an architectural unit with an individual character. Solutions from our standard portfolio as well as custom-made products are used, including Sonnos downlights, the Finea light channel and various Circle ring luminaires.

The new Beiersdorf Campus in Hamburg Eimsbüttel brings the working environments of the future into the here and now. The 51,000 square metre ensemble of new buildings, existing buildings and outdoor areas creates unique New Work conditions for around 3,200 employees at the site. The new corporate headquarters was designed by the renowned Hamburg-based architectural office Hadi Teherani Architects. The interior design concept for the entire campus was created by the prestigious Ippolito Fleitz Group. Prof. Stefan Hofman from Lichtwerke in Cologne was responsible for the lighting design and lighting art. And we are also involved with custom-made products from our TRILUX factory: with huge yet filigree light rings and a sophisticated light sculpture for the Centre Bar.
